Yet Another IE Mod Installer Tool installs your WeiDU mods for Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition, and Enhanced Edition Trilogy (EET). Pick your game, point it at your game folder and a WeiDU file, and click Install. The tools installs every mod and component in order, with no need to run each setup program by hand.
The tool currently only has Windows support.

Versioning
Version 0.9.2
October 3, 2026
Initial public release
Highlights
Three steps: pick your game, choose your folders, click Install.
Uses any WeiDU file: a WeiDU.log from another install, or a list shared by a mod guide, works as it is.
Handles your downloads: point it at your mods folder and it copies what each install needs into the game.
EET aware: installs your BG1 mods first, then EE Fixpack and other BG2EE-only mods, then EET, then everything else.
Catches problems early: warns if the game is running, if a mod is missing, or if a component isn't made for your game.
Tells you what happened: each component finishes as Installed Successfully, Installed with Warnings or Failed, with WeiDU's own reason shown for anything that went wrong.
Pick up where you left off: a failed or stopped install can be resumed from the point it stopped.
How to Use It
Before you start: download your mods, have a WeiDU file listing what to install, and back up your game folder.
Pick your game. Choose BG1, BG2, IWD or EET at the top of the window.
Choose your folders. Select your game folder, your WeiDU file and the folder holding your downloaded mods. For EET, select both your BGEE and BG2EE folders.
Click Install. The tool installs each mod in order and shows its progress. If a mod asks a question, type your answer in the box under the console.
When it finishes, a results window lists anything that failed or had warnings; click an entry to see why. To continue later, load remaining-WeiDU.log from the log folder and click Install again.
Optional Extras
Load WeiDU file(s): preview your install list before starting.
Customize order: add, remove or reorder mods and components, then save the new order.
Check mods: see which downloaded mods aren't in your list, and which mods the list needs but can't find.
Development
The tool was made using Claude Opus whatever. If you don't like AI making stuff, then please do not use this tool.
